I have been suffering from an annoying ringing in both my ears for over a year. I can't remember exactly how it started. I have it day and night and it makes me want to chop off my ears! I somewhat have symtpoms for both tinnitus and an ear infection. I did used to listen to loud music, but not always. So I'm stuck. But my ear is in SO much pain, it burns, throbs, aches, everything! I hear crackles too in my ear but I read thats because of fluid for an infection and crackling can be heard for tinnitus too…so yeah..
