I don’t know about you, but I wanted to stop snoring now. It’s hard to admit when you have a problem, but sometimes that’s the first place to start. It’s not my wife who wants to know how to stop snoring; it’s me, because I care about her sleep and health as well as my own. If you are a chronic snorer the problem is affecting you and your partner. And yes; you can stop snoring now with a lot of the snoring tips that you will find on our site.
There have been many clinical studies related to this topic, all of them pointing to the fact that chronic snoring can have serious effects on the body. Mild snoring might seem harmless, but it can actually lead to more serious health problems, including sleep deprivation. Persistent snoring has also been linked to problems in cardiovascular health, type II diabetes, hypertension and metabolic syndrome. Long-term snoring not only disturbs those close to you, but also keeps you from getting the rest and airflow your body needs to stay healthy.
CNN and a top medical research center did a study on the affects of snoring and children. This is what they found. The study suggests children who snore face nearly double the risk of being inattentive and hyperactive, providing fresh evidence of an intriguing link between sleep problems and attention deficit disorders.
